As most have said, it's all about context. The Witcher 2 for example, for me, epitomises both sides of the coin. On one side the relationship with Triss is given intimacy by the scenes, playful flirtation etc. However the inclusion of prostitutes, while i have no problems with it on a personal level, adds nothing to the game other than cheap thrills for those inclined. My position is positive on both accounts in that I see no reason for them to be excluded on principle however this is not an indication of whether I will like it on a game to game basis.
