Utterly ridiculous but she bears part of the blame for being a public figure that says stupid stuff like that...
She should have been a Holy Priest, they wouldn't have any ammo then.
"Terror, darkness, power? The Forsaken crave not these things; the Forsaken ARE these things."
Wait, they actually mailed this out to people? The Maine rep party should be ashamed...
I mourn the loss of a man of true vision and talent. You were my idol, Mr. Giger.
You gave faces to my dreams and nightmares and sparked my imagination throughout my entire life. You will be missed.

If she acts out crazy fantasies, she'd be crazy, and they'd have a point.
Otherwise, they need to get out of the way before this makes people forget about last night's debate.
I don't think they were directly insulting the game. You just don't say "I like to stab stuff". And the stuff talking about vaginas is just immature. Definitely not a good ad though, most voters should worry about her policies instead of what she said online.

One reason for WoW decline I often hear is that its an old game and naturally people get bored with it. But TV is much older and people still watch that. Surely if a thing you once enjoyed keept staying fun, you would still use it?
I'm a big GTA fan and do all kinds of insanity, but I'm hardly thinking of running down pedestrians and hitting motorcyclists to see how far they fly over the handlebars.
And you damn-well know that. >_<
As for playing WoW, if you go to her Armory her activity feeds shows that her latest activity was on 9/16/2012 when she went into ToC and killed the first boss, and then did some fishing in Northrend. Before that played a little bit in November of 2011 and December of 2011 and did some of the Christmas Festival achievements. Before that it was some pretty consistent playing in February of 2011.
Yup... sounds like a valid point to bring up. Maybe they should try and steal her laptop and search her history, they might find some Porn or something. Oooooooo.
By the way, I just downloaded Black Mesa (original Half-Life in the new Valve engine) and I actually really enjoyed shooting every scientist in the head, just to see the blood splatter and see him slump to the ground. (Bookmark that comment for when I run for office, everyone).

I'm laughing in real life at "Deaths per Second". I can't believe it... Actually I can, U.S. polliticians (and now latin american too) spend their resources to show who is the worst candidate, not to show their strenghts and ideology. It sucks and makes me angry. I'm angry now D:
Yet more empirical evidence that just about anything can be badly distorted out of context. "Studies have found that the average WoW gamer is 28, and spends 22.7 hours a week playing in Azeroth." Possibly true (can't be bothered to check the cited source) but contextually irrelevant to the person at hand.
You know, it would be an extremely interesting exercise to look over my own post history and see if I can come up with a blatantly misquoted advertisement as to why "TacTican should never be a moderator for MMO-Champion" with flashy graphics and all. I might even petition the General Discussion moderator to let me do this.
Aww man.... now I'm trying to remember if it was O or McCain that held the WoW Campaign Rally in '08.
Two things the Republican party once again didn’t think through
1) If Wow was a state, it would have 10 times the population of Maine or more importantly to the Republicans, 10 times the voters. They just upset a lot of voters when they really need votes from outside their base.
2) The Republicans want to attack Iran and others. So wouldn’t you want someone in government with a high “Deaths per Second” if you are going to war?
This is a negative campaign ad? If I lived in Maine I'd try hard to get this woman elected.
I can see some aid to a congressman being told like "Make an alt, find out anything you can!"
i hope they get sued for using intellectual property without permission
