That pet has been live for ages, and it is an actual animal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horned_lizard
horny, meaning it has horns.
Horny is an adjective that can mean any one of the following: An animal that possesses a horn
So, uhm, what do you mean? While it looks nothing like a toad, I'm pretty sure it was intended, seeing as there are no models of toads that have horns on them.
Unless you mean the name... which really isn't that bad either. It's a toad with horns, therefore it's a horny toad...
still funny as shit though. you guys are party poopers.
That's like laughing at the guy who's name is "Master Baiter".
Shouldn't it be horned toad anyway? Yes it's a toad, and it has horns. But horned would be the correct form yes? Funny nonetheless!
He is the life of guilds he has never joined.
He once had a noobish moment- just to see what it felt like.
If he were to beat you in a duel, you would have to fight the strong urge to thank him.
The Lunar Elders have a holiday in which they honor him.
He can speak Darnassian. In Orcish.
He is: The Most Interesting Man in the World of Warcraft.
I'd say his issue is with the fact that it looks nothing like a toad..?
There are many scholars who question whether it is a toad or not." > its line in the pet journal.
As was pointed out, "horny toads" or "horned toads" are actual animals. But they are reptiles, not toads. (Specifically, they're lizards) The "toad" name comes from their stout, flat-faced appearance.
As for the OP, I'm assuming they're snickering about the word "horny." If it's about the fact that it doesn't look like a horned toad, there are several other pet models that don't match up all that well with what they're supposed to be.

It's okay, OP, I giggled when I saw this pet as well. <3
I am a filthy casual!
I suppose you might also be inclined to snicker if they put in a pet, using the seagull model, named "blue footed booby" as well.
I remember people snickering at that.
I think it was when I was in fourth grade and it came up in a book we were reading.

Nope. Everyone else is just being super serious.
Oh man, giggling in a game. This is preposterous! We are all little immature fourth graders for spending a couple seconds to giggle at something!
