[BUG] Swift Flight Form, no wing flappy :(

I don't know if you've noticed, but ever since the Cata pre-expansion patch the flight form doesn't flap its wings as often as it would before when flying in a straight line. Before it would be flapping like 90% of the time (think drakes, proto drakes). Now it just glides mostly, and ocassionaly just flaps wings once or twice. The only time it's animation is correct is when strafing or standing in place. I'm sure this is not intended but I don't see it getting fixed or recognized yet.

I've reported this as a bug, both in game and on forums when the cata patch hit. In-game GM said he doesn't see the problem (probably not played a druid for very long then :P). The problem is, I'm playing EU so I can't post it on US forum where it's relevant. If anyone can put it up on US forums as a bug report it would be very appreciated. Make my druid flap its wings again, please

To be honest, it might be a bug, and it might not. I actually like it when glides in the air. I think of it as something that excludes us from other flying creatures.

I thought I was the only person that noticed this. I'm not sure if Blizzard would consider it an actual bug though, since the number of times the Swift Flight Form model should flap its wings would be a matter of personal opinion. But I can go ahead and make a post on the US WoW forums later tonight and see if it goes anywhere.

This happened during a patch as I think during WOTLK. For some reason, the flying mounts didn't flap nearly as much. They fixed it shortly after.. I just don't remember EXACTLY when it happened.

Which race? I actually enjoy my bat creature gliding along on some thermals.
