New PTS Patch Up

Hey.

There is a new PTS patch up for download...

But you get "Patching has failed" when you try to update.

Just an fyi.

Edit: Also, the version number on the launcher is now TEST-111-4-B-714273

Its about 850mb, logging in now, sure its 1.11 seeing as its about a week away max if it doesn't launch on wednesday.

Ok, now im getting that also. I was able to get to 94% on the loading screen then it told me "patching failed". >.>

Anyone try copying the BETA asset files to the PTS asset folder? That is all the PTS is going to update to anyways. Just make a back up of the pts asset folder in case this does not work

Edit: Eh nevermind - just got a bit more and failed again.

Also, both PTS servers are down.

Yea, its working now. It is a 2.1gb patch. Servers are still locked, QQ.

Yeah this is pretty big. Not just class changes. SL data is being uploaded from what I can tell

After my 2 weeks 'vacation' i'm still playing catch up

Did notice a few changes to quests and stuff from a few weeks ago already..

Firstly, Queen Miela has a new, hot model



There's now a quest for doing the Exodus of the Storm Queen Dungeon which rewards you with a piece of a new costume set, the quest to seek out infiltrators also rewards another piece of the set






How the costume looks in wardrobe



For the extremely lazy or slack player there's a direct portal to IPP from Sanctum



Finally, there's now an option for how you want Cloaks/Capes to render when we get them in SL

Either show everyone's cloak, just your own, or none/low render to save your CPU spazzing out



A lot of the patch has to do with the soul revamps, new abilities etc, far too numerous to show or discuss but it's like starting all over again..

Is anyone else at all seeing that Queen Miela's armor, hair, face etc are EXTREMELY close to how Crucia's human form is portrayed? I have this weird suspicion that at some point we're going to discover that they are one and the same, that Crucia has replaced the Queen or something. If so it reminds me a bit of the Onyxia quest line in vanilla WoW, with Lady Prestor turning out to be the big bad dragon.

Nice to have you back to detail the quest. We SERIOUSLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY need more space somehow. Dimension items plus more ward drobe is going to be ridiculous

Samesies. It's on the PTS (it's the dungeon coming out in 1.11 for people who pre-purchased).

First, some bad news, Burning Powerstones and Flaring Glyphs have had their spell power bonuses reduced, meh







We have a new Faction to grind rep with for a new Achievement



This was my first time seeing this random giant Rift opening in Sanctum and you have to keep Cyril alive as swarms of Storm Legion pound on him...




Noticed two new dailies in IPP from Queen Miela and gang



This one was easy, talk to a scout, a few waves of mobs come ending in a new mob called a Storm Drake, looks cool but i fecked up getting a good screenie




Second daily was very straight forward as well



You basically had to 'train' a squad of raw recruits by showing them various battle moves that all pop up in your temporary ability bar and light up when you need to use an ability...childs play
