Problem with tamming - cannot tame

So i have 5 pets and have unlocked all the pet slots, plus i have removed my pets in stable master from active pets slots by the game still tells me i have an active pet so i cannot tame a new one.

So i cannot summon any pet because i do not have any pet active so my question is why the game is telling me that i have active pet ?

maybe you somehow stabled a dead pet?

Either it's dead, and you need to revive it first, or you accidentally clicked dismiss instead of abandon.
