[H-Runetotem] <Dirge> Recruiting ranged dps and healers for 25man progression
Hello! Let me launch right in to the details, so you can get a feel for our guild.
Dirge is a horde 25man hardcore raiding guild on Runetotem (PVE). That puts us on central time. We're currently doing some to help balance out our fairly melee heavy roster. Specifically, we're looking for dedicated ranged DPS with a good background in heroic raiding and are willing to work to be competitive in a top tier raiding environment. In addition, one or two solid healers (we still don't have a monk) will really bring things together. We're dedicated to doing what it takes to grab those extra spots and improve our progression.
A little about us....
Formed back at the start of Wrath and have been a successful raiding guild for two full expansions. During these last few tiers we have tried very hard to really push the US progression and score a top 200 US position. We will be looking to make vast improvements in the tiers to come. We've got all the fancy achievements, Sinestra, H Rag, 8/8 H DS, etc etc.
We raid 3 nights a week, 3.5 hours a night. Of course, if a kill is imminent, and everyone is feeling good, we have been known to put in a few extra attempts.
The raiding schedule is
Tuesday 7-11pm server (central)
Wednesday 7-11pm server
Thursday 7-11pm server
Loot -- we use a fixed cost dkp system. There's an explanation of it on our site, but it's a pretty standard loot system at this point. With the new expansion upon us, it will be a good chance for you to hop in with a clean dkp table and be winning loot from the very beginning.
Expectations -- We run a tight roster, which means a couple things for you. First, we don't 'bench' people very often. We run as close to 25 people as possible, which means we're willing to work with our players to make sure they can succeed -- as long as they're willing to do the same. In addition, it means we expect people to be on time for raids, and to have great attendance. It's not fair to the other raiders if people aren't on when they need to be. Just think of how much it sucks to clear your schedule and show up for something, just to find out it's not going to happen.
Our players have generally been playing WoW for quite some time, and have a good background in all aspects of the game. We consider ourselves to be pretty laid back, and have a good time raiding. But don't misinterpret that... when it's raid time, it's time to focus and play your class to the best of it's ability.
