    question about internet

hey i just have a question about internet service.

Now i just bought my self a cell phone, with that said, i still have a home phone but im looking to cancel it because i no longer need it. BUT i also have DSL internet. my question is if anyone knows.

my internet service is provided by a company called Execulink, while my home phone service is provided by Bell. Do i need to have a home phone service in order to keep my internet going or do I need to actually have a phone service on the same line in order for my internet to work on that line.

You will still need to pay line rental for the line to stay live and let broadband work over it. Either move line rental to internet provider if they offer phone services, or get the most basic line package from phone company and throw phone away to avoid extra bills for calls.
