Warrior: PvP power or STR

I haven't really done much at 90 yet, but I'm just curious. Why stack PvP power? I don't know if it scales better at 90 than it did at 85, but in the pre-MoP patch it was point for point less beneficial to boosting your damage than the basic stats, and in some cases less than mastery too. Unless I just completely don't understand it.

You get double secondary stats in gems. For example, a red gem is 160 STR but 320 PvP power. Plus, PvP power is probably one of the best scaling secondary stats. If 100 Haste = 1%, then 80 PvP power is 1%.

Past 9k str PvP power is a larger damage increase than strength.

Max PvP power. I got 8740 PvP power atm and I am at 33% increased damage and I still need the Conq weapon which will give me another 2,3k.
In full Conq gear you can get like 12-13k PvP power and its a sick amount it will go to somehere near de 40% increased damage.

TLR PvP Power > STR

Not a warrior myself but i find gemming pvp power to be much better than str.
