I love Bacon.
That said the only realistic way to describe Crispy bacon is BURNT.

Bacon is a fatty meat therefor it was meant to be chewy, It's not supposed to shatter like glass when you bite into it.

Agreed completely. Slightly crispy on the edges maybe, but that's about it.

Don't know, never eaten any. I do like lardons though, and pork products in general, but people don't do bacon here, it's an english thing.

Me neither. I mean, I'll gladly eat bacon if given some but i would much rather had sausage. Bacon just doesn't move me.
