I mostly prefer music that was old already by the time I was born in the late 80s. I do like a few 'modern' bands but most groups aren't capable of making more than one song that doesn't sound like a herd of constipated cows.

Anyways, my absolute favorite band would have to be The Beatles, hands down. I'll even admit they are given way too much credit for what they did for rock and roll but I still would say they can't be beaten, they have so many amazing songs that were way ahead of their time. I like a handful of bands from the 90s era as well but pretty much nothing post 2,000.
