    Improve the mage above you

I always liked these threads, got many good suggestions out of them even when the tips were for other people. So even though I'm just casual nowadays and this might be embarrassing I go first.

    - You should aim for 3059 haste (12,5% haste tableau in raid environment for LB, and a few xtra ticks with glyphed combustion)
    - Expertise on gloves instead of haste
    - Windsong is currently buggy we have to use the old enchant until new ones are available
    - Use potent orange gems for yellow sockets, veiled vioelt gems for blues sockets and brilliant ones for red ones... only aim for socketbonuses if you get + int or hit if needed
    - Use hit on boots as long as you have to wear a hit trinket, you do not have enough hit => and get rid of the hit trinket
    - Bracers need to be enchanted
    - Try to find a mainhand+offhand combo, since staff is meh

Kill Sha to get quest for epic-boots btw.

Talents: I would recommend scorch for raids, since you have to move quite a lot. Cauterize is a must during progression.

    My toon:

Playing fire in raids. Hit is capped but it seems that expertise is not taken into consideration in arsenal at the moment.

If you've got some gold you can easily improve your shoulder enchant for something like 1~2k gold.
If you're really rich, maybe you should consider buying Darkmoon trinket...

i'm not a fan of the brewfesttrinket, but other than that it looks pretty solid, nice gear. i guess you're hitcapped since armory seems to be bugged currently.

If by buggy you mean it procs all the time and sometimes even 2 stats simultaneously then yes, it's buggy

I'd recommend putting a goblin glider on your cape not because it's a DPS increase but because they're incredibly fun :P
That's about all I can think of to say though honestly, probably not fair to count this as an entry for the purposes of the topic.

Take that reforge from ring (crit) and change it to something else gear where u can reforge haste off.
    Else it looks pretty good!

Hit is capped. Wands give 1% hit if you are orc. Dunno why.

Assuming it's for pvp, I'd take Glyph of Fireblast over Ice Lance since being able to burst Frost Bomb on demand very helpful. I would personally take Glyph of Spellsteal over Evocation if you're using Incanter's Ward.

first I would suggest you maybe reforge a bit more out of hit since you are quite a bit above the hit cap. Otherwise the only thing I could suggest is that you use cauterize instead of greater invisibility for your T4 talent choice. And enchant the rest of your gear cloak with 180 int bracers with int or mastery gloves with haste or if theres mastery then that and echant your boots this enchant aint that expensive.

Hit cap is 5,100 without a sword.

Keep questing in Dread Wastes, try and get a ghost iron dragonling made from a engineer friend with hit, mastery, and expertise(Counts as hit now 1:1 convert) or another stat if you don't have a need to raid for a bit. Keep running heroics for 463 gear, if you can pvp grab a friend and do some arenas the malevolent gear can replace the piece you are missing from heroics, or even an straight upgrade form heroics, the blue honor gear isn't terrible either. Do the arena of annihilation scenario for a 450 weapon, I believe it's a staff from what I can recall. Other than that just start enchanting some of the 463 gear you will start getting =)

Man....WAY TOO GOOD OF LUCK ....Damn

But one thing u could think about is hastecaps.

For goblins u have (with combustion glyphed) one at 2415 without timewarp. And one at 3008 iirc with timewarp.

7k Crit is nice, but u're just 700 away from the first hastecap. So i would get it.

I tried, but can't really find anything wrong with your mage.
At first glance I was going to suggest getting a socketed helm for the 3% crit dmg meta, but as you have the same helm as me, im going to assume its the armory bugging out and not showing sockets correctly/at all

Any help with my mage would be appreciated

    (cant post links yet)

    *edit*
Whats this bugg with windsong im hearing so much about? for me it seems to proc fairly regularly sometimes multiple times at once... and thats been the case (for me atleast) since the first week of release

I'd say get hit-capped. Otherwise it's looking quite good. 2 questions: If you are intending to raid why would you use Ice Ward? Ring of Frost would be more beneficial (even though all talents of that stage are PVP). And why Incanter's Ward? I'd say at least for the first 4 bosses in MSV + Sha , Rune of Power is the most beneficial, for me at least.

I know I have two pvp items, but they seem better than the others i had. Conquest PVP Chest > Koegler's robe. And the Dungeon HC Belt hasn't dropped for me at all.
I bought a neck with my first VP cap, and then a raid neck dropped So I basically wasted my points and this week I'm buying that Klaxxi belt.

For some reason armory is bugged and doesn't show gems, or the hit cap properly, i just noticed.

Armory is currently bugged for everyone in several different ways. The newest one introduced yesterday is that it's stopped showing gem slots and the audit has stopped highlighting missing enchants and gems.
