    Razer Naga Tracking Troubles

I've had a Razer Naga for probably a year now, and it's had this problem where if I move it along my Razer Destructor mousepad, which I've had for three to four years, it never moves in a straight line and the pointer flings backwards or stops tracking. Is it because of how worn down the mousepad is? I mean you can see how smooth it is where I did game for compared to areas I didn't. To remedy this I've affixed a piece of paper to the mousepad to help the tracking, but it's awkward when I want to move my mouse across a 24" monitor in <1 second.
