    Mechanical Keyboard (very specific)

Hey guys so I'm looking for a mechanical keyboard but not just any normal key board I want a very specific key setup, price is not a concern.

In short I used to play on a laptop so I am very used to the key set-up of laptops where the f1 f2 f3 etc are directly above the number keys, there can't be a gap between them and there also cannot be a gap between the f4 and f5 etc. I also want the keyboard to have a number pad and if at all possible an extra row of bindable keys on the left side of they keyboard.

    I found this:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Noppoo-Ch...item35b4fc6bbd

It has the key set-up I want but it doesn't have a number pad or the bonus keybind row

This keyboard has the right keys but isn't mechanical and doesn't have the bonus row of keybinds

This keyboard has the extra like of keybinds and the f keys are close to the number keys but its missing a key above the number 1 button

I'd go with the Noppoo (I think it's generally considered a quality product) and an external numpad. What do you use the numpad for? Because if you use it only now and then I think a TKL keyboard like the Choc Mini is better for gaming as you can position it easier on your desk and then do your other stuff with the separate numpad (I use it to pay bills basically).

I'd definitely pick a Choc Mini or similar keyboard if I were to change from my 6gv2 Red. There's also the FN-numpad on Choc but I know it isn't the same thing. :P

I'd maybe take a look at the Deck 82 - Ice (http://www.deckkeyboards.com/product...products_id=30) - no numpad on the side or an extra row set of bindable keys.

There's also the Happy Hacking line of keyboards - http://elitekeyboards.com/products.p...=pfu_keyboards but unfortunately they have the same problem as above.

See if any of these meet your needs (http://www.datacal.com/c-49-wireless...th-and-rf.aspx) - Datacal specializes in industrial and just generally odd keyboards for niche markets, so maybe. Also look at - http://www.datacal.com/c-192-industrial-keyboards.aspx

I can't guarantee what, if anything, from Datacal is mechnical.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9012&Tpk=mech5 The Mech5 isn't quite what you want...but really close (imo).

Look at http://www.ikey.com if money is really no option - if they don't have what you want, they'll make it.

I am currently using the Corsair Vengeance K90 and it seems quite close to what you are asking for. The one drawback is that it does have a gap between groups of F keys.

I just found this Vortex Race and it is set up nearly how you want, sans num pad and macro keys.

Good luck trying to find something that is perfect though!

Seconded the Noppoo Choc Mini. I really don't think you can beat it. That function key layout is extremely uncommon in a high-end keyboard; I'm pretty sure that's the entire reason people pick one of these up. To be blunt, the exact layout you're looking for probably doesn't exist. Numpads and especially macro keys are unnecessary; layouts like the Choc Mini exist specifically to save space. Compacting the function keys but adding macro buttons wouldn't make sense for the majority of consumers.

Virtually every other mechanical keyboard will have the standard separated f-key row. Honestly, if the Choc (or something nearly identical) won't do it for you, your options probably drop into the realm of membrane keyboards. As a plus, a lot of membrane keyboards don't pay much regard to layout standards and function keys like you're looking for aren't all that hard to find.

I'm pretty sure your best setup would be a Noppoo Choc Mini with something like this to supplement it if you want one. Short of that, you might look into getting a custom keyboard made for you, but it would likely be ludicrously expensive and I honestly wouldn't even know where to point you.
