    I noticed that on Slowpoke's stream they are using BOP on their 1.5.2 test world. Not sure what happens if you try to change an existing world. Doubtful it will be anything good but have never tried that sort of change.

    Anything that does worldgen will only affect newly generated chunks. You would have to travel out to notice. What would probably cause major problems is removing XBXL if you already had it installed.

    I wonder, will ore generation get messed up when I replace extra biomes with bop in FTB pack and start new game? Do I have to configure every ore so that it spawns in new biomes?

    Because I really want to make my house in crags, but I dont know if I can be arsed to configure all those ores to spawn there.

    I have an ultimate installation with BOP and without extrabioms and the ores are spawning fine for me. I also started a new game when adding BOP, I dont think switching during a running world would work out so well.

    what version of gravity suit and ic2 works in 1.5.1 as the version i have the grav chest the advanced jet pack and grav tool all wont charge

    ore gen will be fine using bop versus exbxl. if you're worried about distribution amongst layers, you can always go into your configs for various mods (for instance: thermal expansion) and adjust the y levels for ore spawns.

    on an unrelated note, anyone heard any whispers as to when ars magica and mystcraft are gonna drop for 1.5.2?

    possibly a silly question, but i can't seem to find a definitive answer on the ic2 jenkins (or anywhere else for that matter). are the latest ic2 dev builds 1.5.2 compatible? latest build is 309.

    309 woks with 1.5.2 (tested under Forge 696).

    All the addons should too. Exception being maybe Nuclear Control.

    Mystcraft should update soon. Xcompwiz is working on the update as well as additions. No word on Ars Magica, although Mithion has been posting regularly.

    I'm getting a few Unnamed items in my NEI. The ID's are 149,150,1031,1032,1035, 1038, 1039, 1047, 1051, 1052, 1053, 1057, 1061, 1190, 1191, 1220:4, 1240:8, 1242, 1485, 1501, 1519, 1592, 7428, 9348:8, 9351.

    Also a few items are invisible. Of those numbers: 1032, 1035, 1051, 1052, 1053, 1592.

    Also it looks like Dimensional Doors is getting a lot of patch updates and might be stable enough to test on 1.5.2. I really like the idea of doing farms and other processing areas with Dimensional Doors that I normally do with mystcraft as it only generates a 3x3 chunk unless explored further. Might keep the server load down.

    A lot of that is the mod itself. Will have to be fixed with updates.

    No updates tonight though. i checked earlier and there wasn't anything really. Will look again tomorrow.

    Xycraft will be added when it updates (probably soon) and Xenos Reliquary if that ever updates too. Redpower is another one. After that I don't see myself adding many more mods without first removing some. The installation is already very large and cumbersome. At the moment though, I'm not looking to add anything until everything is updated and working for 1.5.2.

    Not suggesting this to add to the pack, just information for anyone interested. SlimeVoid has finished a first version of Wireless Redstone that only works apparently in 1.5.2.

    I did some initial testing and it seemed to work okay although there is a pretty bad crash bug in the powerconfigurator module. Fortunately the mod works without that feature. Since I have no idea if or when Chickenbones will ever update his wireless redstone module this might serve as a substitute for that functionality that used to come from RP2/Chickenbones mods.
    I would make sure you have a backup of any world cause I am not sure how stable this mod is at this point.

    Hi gents,

    I am testing upgrading my 1.5.1 world to 1.5.2 and get constant crashes (does not even load) from chickenbones coremods, they do not seem to work with any recent versions of forge. I think it's buildcraft that needs forge 688+ plus, but chickenbones mods cannot deal with it...anyone noticing this?
