Very nice Fuzzzie. I am guessing that is part of the new Fuzzcraft set? Can we maybe hope for more than just zombie? Please, pretty please.
Yep. Just got it to actually spawn zombies. Now I just need to figure out how to make them spawn faster. Currently only doing it randomly and I want it to be more frequent. Getting tired though.
Once I get that working I'll add other mobs and think of a way to craft them.
Other than that, waiting on some help with the colorizor. Once that's working I'll put out a version for people to play with. It's a lot of work, especially learning from scratch. No eta really. Soon(ish) hopefully.
Well if you need testers I am sure some of us loyal followers would be glad to help.
They currently spawn on a random world tick, I've given it a spawnrate so it can spawn once every 5 sec, 2 sec, 1 sec, .5 sec etc. Depends what you want. Redstone turns it on and off.
Next is going to be deciding if I want to do some sort of tiered spawner (like soul shards) or do a GUI where you can control it. I'm no a huge fan of the latter because it seems really overpowered (people just setting the max setting).

Yeah, it will be in the first release of my mod
What if you had the higher tiers require some sort of energy. I'm sure it'd be a pain to tie it in to BC or IC2 or something (I doubt modded minecraft really needs another energy system), but that would make it harder to just spawn tons of them. Sort of like the Tesla Coils.
Also, I'm messing around with Applied Energistics and I can't seem to get the quarts processors, but then I noticed they're not used for anything. The ME devices use the buildcraft chipsets. I tried to alter the AE configs so they don't but it doesn't seem to change anything. Is there another option I'm missing?
EDIT: Nevermind. It suddenly changed after I spent so much time building an engine system to power an assembly table.

I think this mod definitely deserves to be a part of this technical compilation.
The only thing I miss from RP2 right now is the sickle. Everything else can easily be replaced by other mods. For me at least.
i have access to railcraft beta will download in a bit and let u know if it plays nice

Anyone looked at this mod being built called Logical Engineering. The design document says it is designed to "compete with or replace RedPower 2 by Eloraam". Might be worthwhile keeping track of the mods progress but not ready for prime time I don't think.

Not sure if this person has the skills to pull this off but clearly the doors seem pretty open now for people going ahead with replacements for RP. Nice to see in my opinion.

And back to Logisitics Pipes. Found this interesting graph showing branches and what appears to be the current development path.
You can see that Gejzer has a 1.5.1 branch he is working on. (keeps fingers crossed he can make it work)

And a link to charge pads for 1.5.1 and Obsidian plates (which I realize isn't in your mod list but just for information purposes)

Yeah, I've heard about this. It's from a developer whos worked on Universal Electricity Addons. It's a little barebones at the moment but I'll keep my eye on it.
Yep. I'm not at all worried about Logistics Pipes. It will come out soon. It has a good team working on it.And back to Logisitics Pipes. Found this interesting graph showing branches and what appears to be the current development path.

Yeah, I'm not ready to add to the list just yet though. Soon as things stabilize with whats on the list I'll be testing additions out.
Thanks for the updates. Looked at the turret mod and it looks fun and we'll have to give it a look once we get settled with 1.5.1.

Update adds configs for Nuclear Control and Charge Pads. That's it for now!
Fuzzzie, thanks so much for doing all of this for us, and in particular I appreciate the change log you generate with each version of your config pack. Makes it much easier for me to use since I still tweak a few things myself in the configs. Having the change log lets me know what I need to pull in or give another look. Again, thanks for all of your efforts.
