Help our trial Holy Paladin

We've recently gotten a Holy Paladin trial, and i'd like to get some input from high-end holy paladins (i have no clue about Holy Paladin logs).

Well, I am just going to reply here in the meantime while waiting for a mod to merge this into the proper thread.

Let us first start with pre-raid preparation(i.e. gems reforges enchants glyphs and talent choices).

For 10 man raiding, 7170 haste is taken to be better, still, running a lower haste breakpoint is perfectly viable depending on personal playstyle, which brings me to my point - he isn't even running the 3506 breakpoint, he is hovering at 1964 haste.

Next - he is running Glyph of Illumination, which is a VERY big mana regen loss especially at 17k spirit. Why he runs it just boggles the mind.

Now, for the actual raiding performance.

I will just screen the fight here which I feel best describes the level of his play.

Fallen Protectors:

35 Holy Shocks cast out of an optimal 60 casts

Holy Radiance usage very, very low.

Divine Plea and Arcane Torrent only used once, severely limiting his mana regen and ability to cast expensive spells like Holy Radiance.

Holy Power generation in general was terribly low for a 6 minute fight. In roughly the same amount of time, I have 116 Holy Power generated from Radiance and Flash of Light/Divine Light, as well as 74 Holy Shocks cast - link here for comparison:

He has ZERO casts of Avenging Wrath, Divine Favor and Guardian of Ancient Kings. I shouldn't need to stress how much healing he is losing by neglecting these CDs.

Divine Protection only casted once. This should be spammed copiously to increase survivability on any fight with predictable spike phases.
