Just because Jaina made it to somewhere better after such events does not indicate it will be the same for everyone, Blizzard may very well be going the George Martin way.
...what would antogonize Horde more would be to killing of another racial leader, first may have been accidental but the second one does raise the questions and with Lor'themar/Sylvanas questioning his tactics, "the war-crimes of the warchief" seem to get a bit more clearer.
Vol'jin will die and then the questioning Horde will want to usurp Garrosh...
Well, considering that the Kor'kron are Garrosh's personal elite soldiers and he's been filling their ranks with Blackrock Clan members, and in Tides of War had them assassinating people who publically disagreed with his policies, I'm gonna say that yeah, Garrosh ordered it. Plus, quest dialogue where Thrall talks about their supreme loyalty to the Warchief position means some will unfortunately have to be killed, even though they're just acting on orders.
Really? This is very interesting. Would you mind telling me where I can read more about members of the Blackrock Clan becoming Kor'Kron guards, or is that in the Tides of War too? (I faction changed from Alliance to Horde so I haven't read many quests, if it's mentioned in them)
I love how they completely disregard all the discussion (read: discussion, not just whining!) on rogue forums about a lack of class identity in PvE, abilities/utility being eclipsed by Monks, dps sorely lackluster, etc.
Their response? "Oh, well you guys will be fine once you get haste."
So all of the problems of the rogue class are reduced to lacking haste? Sounds like piss-poor itemization and design, imo. But rogues have always performed poorly at the start of xpacs.
Maybe they'll give rogues another legendary to "fix" the class. /eyeroll
Blood Elves being setup for maybe a neutral faction or allow people to do a quest to change sides (Pandas being the test for the tech).
I've actually thought the same with Tauren in 5.0.4/5 in how they openly hate Garrosh (for obvious reasons). My thinking was a neutral faction as well, with Tauren and possibly some humans (due to Varian's warlike tendencies and his son's relationship with the Tauren).
The notion that all <insert race> have the same political/sociological views is so old fashion. I'm okay with the majority of a race being on one side (so Orgrimmar would obviously still be a Horde stronghold), but there's nothing wrong with the notion that the players being the outsiders.
A third player paid faction would definitely be a way to keep the game interesting.
I'm really curious if those answers are right front the blue post on rogues and warlocks. Those seem very sarcastic and lackadaisical. I'm really contemplating on what happens at blizzard with these people. Like I feel the person who answered these is complete tool that hates his own life.
Great sounds like the Kirin Tor is betraying the Blood Elves again. Kaelthas didn't betray the Kirin Tor BTW. They helped Garithos lock him and the rest of the Blood Elves up and they were going to execute him so actually they betrayed him along with the rest of the Alliance. Kaelthas did betray Illidan and the Blood Elves though when he joined Kiljaeden.
I about fell out of my chair laughing at this. i just dropped playing my paladin, despite doing everything flawlessly, for my feral druid for progression. despite being literally 9 ilvls lower, doing MSV became a joke because of the increased damage. this is playing DoC spec mind you since I didn't get a caster weapon in time to try HoTW burst spam. ret paladin dps is horrible right now. often times you find yourself waiting up to 4-5 seconds for an ability to come off cooldown just because of clash resolution leading to them all being used almost simultaneously previously. in my first five man while testing DoC I was getting 200k crit ferocious bites on the druid with only 3 combo points up and DoC proc'ed. I'd be lucky to see a 140k TV despite being in nearly all BiS pre-raid ret gear. the fact that holy avenger and avenging wrath do not line up is also a huge issue as the burst on command every 2mins would help with some of that. increasing seal damage would mean relying more on keeping a dot up where as direct damage seems to be the issue. TV NEEDS a buff since thats supposed to be the actual nuke. it reminds me of playing my warlock as destro over the last expansion and being like, why do we have chaos bolt again?
as for rogues, combat is and generally does scale lower because of gear requirements, I'll be lvling mine next and playing mut. I had many top 100 world parses in DS, so I'm eager to see how mut stacks up now. rogue will be stronger with the 4 piece tier bonus and the way it affect's shadow blades and adrenaline rush for combat. however, blizz should bandaid some of the damage and make it less based on white swing damage, which seems to be the problem at 90 that that is most of the damage ala BC rogue where you just stacked hit. the lack of uptime on a boss because of various mechanics means this will severely lower DPS time as well as make burst almost non-existent.
but hey mages are fine so everything in the game is fine. I guess when you have to nerf other classes because you can't compete on a game you are developer on, thats just the GC way of doing things.
edit: also, rogue is a pure DPS class, not a hybrid. the fact its affected by hybrid tax pretty much means some rogue somewhere ganked GC during the PTR and he's throwing his typical beta male hissy fit. its time for the developers to grow up a bit and stop protecting their pet classes. rogue's SHOULD be able to destroy meters, thats what a rogue is here for its a pure DPS class.
