Honestly over 8GB is overkill if all you're doing is playing games, GTX560Ti would have been a better GPU to buy, too.

RAM is EXTREMELY cheap nowadays, it's not a question of price really, as of today 16 gig of good ram costs a bit over 100 dollars so you might aswell get it.

    16GB is plenty. I have 16GB and i don't think I'm using 1/3 of it yet.

What u should get is a better cpu and a ssd. That'll help.

New AMD cpus will be out soon (fx 8350) socket am+. You may need a new mb since am3 isn't enough.

Or you could upgrade to an intel setup. More expensive but worth it.

I'd save the money and go with the new nvidia card coming out by the end of this year. Until then upgrade the cpu and get a ssd.

nope it i just got this pc last year so that wont happen. so im just going to upgrade parts as i go. I may upgrade the CPU when my pc is laggy but as for right now its really fast. my cpu gets a 7.5 in win 7.

Id still say your computer's weakest link is CPU. Instead of buying a new video card, you would probably get a bigger performance increase by buying a new mobo and intel cpu.

And about 7.5fps in 25man raids. Windows rating means nothing, but if you're happy with the games you're playing, you don't need upgrade for it.

In WoW yes, in anything else no.

If you want a new AMD CPU don't bother with the current range, Sure it may have 8 cores but WoW can only use 2 cores and new games use up to 4.

Also 16G is overkill if your just gaming. While it is cheap you will see 0 performance upgrade over 8G.

I agree, going from an over clocked 560 to a 660 ti is not worth the money...that's like what, 250 bucks for ~10 fps?...wait until the 7 series or go 680 if you want to see a noticeable difference.

Your best bet would be to stick to 8gb of ram and leave that graphics card how it is, it won't play everything at 60 fps ultra 16x AA but it'll play most things at high enough settings to enjoy, including wow on almost full already (high/ultra with decent AA and slight tweaks to get it to a steady raid 60)

I would highly recommend upgrading to a full intel set-up though, if you're wanting to play WoW as one of your staple games you want your CPU to be a beast, and you can't really beat price-performance of even a low clock overclocked i5 2500k

Also, I wouldn't make it a habit to ask for help then blow off the advice people give you.

OT: The graphics card is fine, 16Gigs of RAM is fine, your CPU will be your limiting factor, Intel leads in 'per core performance.

get the cheapest i5 if you dont wanna spend more than 200$. It will trash any amd cpu and won't cost a fortune.... Buying amd for gaming is only an option if you play hello kitty island adventure tbh....
