Video quality

Hello MMO champs...

I recently got a new computer so I decided to fraps some of our boss kills and make some videos of it. But I run into a problem, I am doing it exactly the same way as one of mine friends and the quality is nowhere near to his. We checked every option, everything is set to same, yet his videos looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwdCi2uurwc (priest PoV) and when I render mine it is not that sharp and sometimes the image blurs. We are both using Sony Vegas 8 Pro and Sony AVC codec. This happens even if I use any other codec(pretty much tried everything what was in options), even got Sony Vegas 12 Pro... Nothing helps, I can set everything to best quality, have a 5 gb big file its still not sharp...

Any suggestions please? I start to be a bit desperate...

Record settings, render settings, etc etc. Right now it's pretty much "My car won't start, what's wrong?".

I am using fraps to record, at Full size 29,97 FPS. Here you can see my project and codec settings... http://imgur.com/a/mlF0T .
Another problem I ran into was that the video was not only blurry, but also too light...

I havent edited video in a few years but dont you need deinterlacing for hd stuff?

Also in the field settings is there a "progressive scan"?

You can also use PAL to save some file size, you cant really tell the difference. 29.97 fps is like 20% bigger.

I need to reinstall vegas but with a ssd its pointless
