    New monitor

Recently bought myself a bigger screen only to notice it's quality is nowhere near what I had previously from my 20".Text is fuzzy and the colour looks drained / washed out. planning to return this 27" and actually do some research into what's good instead of just picking the cheapest big screen.

a 27" would be ideal although if the price is too high I could settle at a good quality 24".
What's out there and what 'stats' should I be looking at?

27" is too big for 1920x1080 (or 1200) to be displayed crystal clear. Similar to sitting nose up front to a TV.
If you really want sharp text, you should look at 27" monitors with a 1600p resolution, not 1080p.

    whats your budget?

also, 21-24in is best suited for 1920x1080. 27in is for 2560x1440.

You can get 27" 2560x1440 for like $280.

Seems 27" will be pushing my budget too far. Especially as I want to be moving to a dual monitor setup.
Good quality 24" to be looking at? Really only for MMOs and watching movies

I'm flexible, could push £500 for both.

also, what's the best way to run dual montiors? both running DVI? I believe I only have 1 HDMI port

500 Euros can get you 2x 27" 2560x1440 if you are willing to buy from Ebay. Should look into it.

They've said anything I could myself. Good luck finding one.
