Why are alchemists the ones screwed for the profession bonuses?

So Alchemists have a flask that increases a stat by 320 which is usable in arenas, etc... yet every other profession has two 320 stat bonuses like 2 ring enchants, 2 sockets, and we are stuck with one flask. I don't get it, why are alchemists screwed over while other professions thrive? Isn't this supposed to be balanced?

Those professions don't have two +320. They have two +160.

    Edit: I read that wrong

Alchemists get a 320 primary stat boost while others get two 160 (320) primary stat boosts or two 320 (640) secondary stat boosts(not as common).

You forgot to mention our free trinket, increased health from potions, double/triple/quadruple crafts/transmutions due to specialisations that no other profession has anymore. Alchemy may not be "THE" DPS boost profession but with all the boni we get I call it totally even.

We also get double duration on flasks, thus saving us money. Not to mention increased stats from said flasks.

Oh, and we get a blue flask that is permanent and a blue trinket which is good for a little bit.

im making 300g every day just for clicking a button. i think that makes up for potions etc. being a helluva lot worse than gems enchants etc.

I think the increase benefit from a flask is the little extra that you lack passively.

Also in terms of stats boost Alchemy is the same as other professions, with the exception of BS (and JC I think) who has more choice.

As for each expansion Alchemy is perfect in the start when flask costs are up and you can make money of it and save from having to use only half the number of flasks per raid. But that first period is running out, on high populated servers the prices droped a lot. Flasks are now max. 200 with a low at like 80g. In some cases it's not even worth crafting them unless you get lucky to get 5x.

For people who feel like they have to get flasks, sure. But even then its still equal. However, you get added effects from elixirs as well if you're really about the min-maxing. I remember last expansion I'd tank with Prismatic Elixir (magic resistance) and Elixir of the master (mastery), which I felt was much better than stacking more stamina from a flask. This expansion Mantid Elixir (armor) and Monk's elixir (mastery) seem to be the way to go. And best of all, no other profession could have given me magic resistance as a profession bonus last expansion, and no other profession could give me armor for this expansion.

And on my server, picking up a two packs of 20 elixirs for raid night is STILL cheaper than buying or crafting a flask, thanks in part to all those people selling elixirs dirt cheap from when they were leveling the profession.

For non-tanks, yeah, you're stuck with flasks since you don't really have much use for any of the guardian elixirs which is a shame, but in the end you still get the standard +320 primary stat bonus. At least you're not a gatherer profession (those poor fools =( )
