    Mega Man Raids

I have a fun idea for raids -- would be interesting if they released a raid tier where the bosses are not sequential and each boss could provide a small buff that would help against his opposite boss -- similar to how bosses work in the mega man series. Would be fun to have a little strategy involved with deciding on your desired kill order and it would be interesting if the buffs could help make up for holes in raid composition.

I'm sure ultimately players would discover an "ideal route" but it might be something fun to spice up the raiding environment. I guess this is similar to the deathwing fight when deciding on which platforms to fight on first, but maybe create some more interesting abilities that would specifically counter a boss' mechanic.

I could see it being an interesting raid mechanic, but would have the adverse effect of making raiding easier as you progress through a tier. I think the same mechanic, but in the opposite (killing a boss buffs other bosses, until the last boss is very difficult due to the buffs received from other bosses) could be better for raiding groups.

Good point on making things easier -- you could also have a setup where the last boss is always at the same power level and you have to defeat all the minion bosses. The last boss would have strengths and weaknesses of all bosses and once you get there, you could only have one specialist in each ability. It still wouldn't have the best ramping since the last boss would be a big spike in difficulty.

I really like the idea of powers being added on to subsequent bosses. I'm sure creating this hypothetical raid would be a nightmare to balance...

It would provide a good opportunity for achieves that are in the "Kill X boss without Y buff" category.

I like that idea, i loved megaman, but it honestly sounds more like 1 encounter than an actual raid.

    -although-

with the appearance of "elite" gear i could see this working even better. While things would be easier if you killed the wood boss after you kill the fire boss, if you kill the wood boss without the fire boss's buff you would get better gear.
(for those who dont know what im talking about. normal: http://www.wowhead.com/item=86390 elite: http://www.wowhead.com/item=90527 )
