Has been said on their forums and here some plenty times. You never bought dayz you bought Arma2, wich allows you to play the free mod.

There is so many people asking why they have to pay, I think it's ridiculous how they expect to get it for free when they never even bought it in the first place.

Actually, I'd prefer it if zombies didn't run around like Kenyan Olympic sprinters on crack. The impossibly fast zig-zagging is beyond absurd, both mechanically and aesthetically.

DayZ standalone will be based on a client-server architecture (more like an MMO), not the current ArmA2 architecture.

Well if they are deleting the zombie's zigzagging then i'll hope they will come in bigger horde's .
Because if zombie's are just going to walk in a straightline there's absolute no more skill needed to kill...
I really hope the game will come out in november but i have my doubts about it , i'm more guessing in februari.

According to Lirik he will get access to stream the standalone starting this week. You'll be able to buy your own server on release, there will be gun cleaning, durability on axes, individual bones breaking, et cetera.
