[H] 25 man <Clarity> - Jaedenar EU 3/6hc 175 World Rank
Clarity is a 25 man guild based on Jaedenar EU Horde.
We aim to progress through heroic modes with a friendly and social atmosphere. We often joke around a little during trash and easy bosses but we know when it is time to calm down and focus up.
Clarity generally maintains a reasonably small roster of around 30-33 active players. This allows us to remain a tight-knit core unit whilst still covering all the setup requirements that blizzard throws at us. It also allows us to cover those unavoidable absences such as a family birthday or a business trip.
Aside from these "unavoidable absences," we expect close to 100% attendance from our raiders. We don't miss a raid because our girlfriend wants to go see a movie, or our friends invited us out for drinks. For us, other evening activities are restricted to off days or outside of raid time.
Our Raid Times are as Follows:
We raid 19:40 - 23:00 server time, 4 or 5 days a week during progress, with Friday & Saturday being off-days. Depending on the rate of progress and setup requirements we will look to take either Sunday or Tuesday off as well to avoid burnout.
What We are Looking for
We are looking for another exceptional player or two to maintain competition within our roster.
Classwise we are looking for a Boomkin, a Resto Druid and a Deathknight or Fury Warrior.
There are also openings for Warlocks, Elemental Shamans and a Warrior or a Paladin tank.
We expect applicants to have their character completely ready to go, both with gear and professions. We are looking for solid applicants who give off the right impression when it comes to dedication and attitude. Your past experience is also important and we will of course check your raidbots profile to see your performance levels.
We like to recruit for the long term, so are not looking for guild hoppers or people that often take long breaks from the game.
What We Look for in Our Recruits
A Positive Attitude We don't want players that lose heart or focus after a few wipes and we especially don't want players that contribute to a "negative mood shroud" across the entire raid.
Skill & Awareness We don't expect our raiders to play perfectly every try, but we expect you to learn from your mistakes whilst getting more and more dps/healing out of your character on every attempt.
Honesty When a player makes a mistake that wipes the raid, they should hold their hands up and apologise for it, we feel that hiding away and keeping quiet is totally unnacceptable.
Communication Skills We don't like players that are scared of their microphones, if you are asked a question over teamspeak, we expect a reply over teamspeak, not to be waiting around for you to type a response. We also need to know if you need someone to cover an interrupt, or to toss out a rebirth.
Being Able to Take Criticism All players within the guild need to be able to take criticism in a mature fashion. It is extremely important to us that all of our players are constantly striving to improve.
A Strong Personality There is often a fair amount of banter that goes on within the guild. A new recruit will need to be able to take it in good humour, and if they can throw some back then even better!
Shared Objectives It is important to us that we are all pulling in the same direction, keeping focus on the next goal, and doing all that we can to help the guild achieve it, finding more information & theorycrafting and devising better strategies to deal with each mechanic.
A Stable Connection If you suffer disconnection problems or have fps so low that it affects your performance, do not expect to pass your trial.
What We Provide
We pay repair bills and provide feasts & contribute to flask requirements.
We hope to provide a positive environment where we all improve as players and kill big bosses for that amazing feeling that we all raid for.
We have a website with an active forum & shoutbox to keep you entertained at work/school.
We run numerous 10m alt runs and mount runs, and will be working towards the Dragon Soul meta achievement as well as clearing heroic modes quickly enough for there to be plenty of slack time and preparation time for Mists of Pandaria.
