    Need new speakers

Okay, looking for suggestions for a new set of speakers.

They don't have to be amazing quality or very expensive (in fact the cheaper the better) But I am looking for a decent set of 2.1 -5.1 speakers WITH sub/bass control. I need to resolve the problem I have with my current Logitech Z313 2.1 system with which the sound can be heard better next door than it can in my own room.

Preferably a store/shop/etailer in England, with a budget of £20-£50.

I'm thinking probably something like this:

Try logitech. I have owned them in the past. They make a really good set of 2.1 and 5.1 speakers if you are on a budget. I used to have a 5.1 set that would rattle windows in my house that I got for $99 from Circuit City.

Have you got a link or a model number for this really good set? because im using a Logitech 2.1 set right now and they suck.

If the sound is heard better in a different room, your issues revolve around acoustics, not speaker performance.

Try putting the subwoofer on a heavy plinth, or put it on something soft and rubbery to better disconnect it from the floor. Heavy plinth AND something soft-ish underneath probably works best - but this is assuming your entire wall does not act as a huge resonator.

    45 Hz–20 kHz
    75 watts RMS
    Dedicated bass control

I found using my soundcard software was better tbh but for the money they are pretty good....See what others recommend if you're unsure

What do you guys think to this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-1-HOME-C...80490619382%26

Auna HF583 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers USB SD MP3 70W RMS

And thanks Stravs and Demoness but at £84 the ones you suggested are out of my budget.

I'm not really actually looking for a 5.1 set, a 2.1 or even a 2.0 set would do fine as long as they sound okay. And to me that's as long as there's no reverb and don't sound tinny, i'm no audiophile.

I wish you had a higher budget than that so you could dish out that poor quaility which Logitech and co provide. Compared to big names of course.
