Why we from US and EU should pay way more then koreans to play wow with less content ?????

I raided 10 man in WotLK, and continue to do so to this day. I did this because I prefer 10 mans, and I run with nine other guys who feel likewise. I've run 40 mans, 20 mans, 25 mans and 10 mans, and I prefer 10s. But being a 10 man raider in WotLK was a little like being an LFR raider is right now. Not because it was easier, but because the deck was stacked against you. You put in the same time and got crappy gear, no mounts, no legendaries, and your accomplishments were belittled because the 25 man raiders could come in and steamroll your dedicated content with little effort. This was all justified because we were "seeing the content."

If you weren't a 10 man raider back when it was like being the elder McFly at a Biff Tannen convention, you can't possibly understand how great it was to hear that the lockouts were combining and the loot levels were being equalized. It was the best damn thing since sliced bread. Now this news comes out. Ugh.

Thing is though, I don't care anymore. This change is so awesome that I don't have to listen to this shit anymore. It's finally fucking over, we can go back to 25mans being the clear best and we don't have to worry about easy or not 10mans are. Best fucking MoP feature yet.
25 man is tuned so tightly one death means the raid will not meet enrage. Additionally, it is difficult to spot things on the floor compared to 10 man many people are clumped in the same area (melee). What this means is you need to be more aware and stress more to spot things that will kill you. Of course if you do die you fuck the rest of the raid whereas in 10 man this is also true but it is easier to stay alive since you can see stuff on the floor.

And of course this means 10 man is easier than 25 man. We haven't even talked about logistics

Tbf they took 25 away from me seeing as it is pretty much dead on my server since mid cata but I geuss in the case of 10m we certainly cant do this.

Also this is probably just me, but what got me interested in raiding was the vast amount of players to work together to kill bosses, 10m just feels less epic and barely gives me the feeling I am playing a mmorpg and more of a co op gameplay vibe.

I will thruthfully pray this change will come to eu/us.

If people feel forced to raid 10/25 and do dailies aswell.... you can also remove 10m and fix it.

Have you looked at the Korean model? They pay by the hour. We in no way shape or form pay more than they do. This is purely a regional marketing maneuver.. nothing more.

That would be a lot more fair, as 10 man guilds can't run 25s.
LOL, sure. kill 25 mans entirely. oh and with the look of challenge modes, we can expect there to be 5 man raids and the dying 10 man raids in the next expansion. cheers. -.-

u go look again on their model and see that they actually pay 2x or even 3x less then EU and US overall to play the game with so much more content per week .... with all those reset and seperate lockouts they have .....

Being a GM/Officer in a 25 man raiding guild just takes so much more work, time and coordination. 10 man is alot more relaxing and stress free to run. I've been a GM for both and it's true. I guess this is blizzards way of giving a slightly better reward to those who put in more time, work and effort, which I agree with. The ilevel difference will only be 8 between the 2 difficulty's. In ICC, there was a 13 ilevel difference (251 in 10s to 264 in 25s) So IMO, it seems fair for those who put in the extra effort/time and work.

    This debate is getting tedious.

SOO STUIPID ARE THEY SERIOUSLY?!!! REMOVE IT NOW instead of giving it only to them koreans

I'd expect to see a clarification from Blizzard within a couple of days regarding this subject. Having said that, I'd be immensely surprised if they implemented this type of change on Us/Eu servers.

Just bring in 15 man so I can see the end of this non stop QQ

With them adding the item level for valor point stuff, I think the best way to compromise is to have the same gear drop, like same actual item, but have them at different points in upgrade progression. Like say you can upgrade an item 4 times, the 10m could drop level 1, while 25 could drop either level 3 or 4. That way, 25s get the reward of not having to spend valor on upgrades, saving it for other stuff.

Being a GM / Officer in a 25-man raiding guild, I am sure that you realise that only a handful of your people apply more work, time and coordination. The rest of your people do, either an equal or lesser amount of work than their compatriots in 10-man raiding guilds. I'm sure you do a good job, but claiming your entire raiding team needs rewarding because of the work *you* do is disingenuous.

25 man being revived would actually make me resubscribe.

  18. #358
Well at least this time it isn't a whole level better...only 8 ilevels as opposed to 13 so technically 10H would still be better than 25M reg.

Much would be solved with revisions to WoWprogress.com as well. It'd help a lot of 10/25 were separated entirely on that site.

Worldoflogs already has things separated. However, both wowprogress and worldoflogs need to separate out KR/TW now if they're going to have higher ilvls.

They shouldn't have fused the two lockouts in the first place...
