Looking for a good buff-timer

I recently installed Gnosis, and saw that it had a buff timer built in. But I was disappointed to discover, that I could not make the bars grow out of each other (or if I can, I couldn't figure out how. If you know, I'd love to hear)



It's the bars to the left where Windsong is displayed. I love how customizable the bars are, but the problem is, I have to make one bar for each buff. That not only looks silly having seperated bars like that, but it also takes up screen space.

What I really want is just this type of bar, but where you can make it grow out like this:



And also be able to change the color of each bar, so say, my bloodlust bar is red, and shadowfiend bar is purple.

I tried NeedToKnow, and while that can change the color of each bar seperately, I can't seem to make that Grow out either. It's individualized bars with a certain place on the screen, which is highly annoying.

Any suggestions?

There used to be an addon called something like "Akali's Buffbars" that did exactly that, except that it's been outdated since I last looked (WotLK).

Hopefully this'll give you a lead.

ChronoBars is, in my opinion, the best addon out there for this. It is the only one I know of that allows the bars to grow and shrink as a group, and you can change their order and color individually. The customization is pretty nice and it's user-friendly.

Sounds great I'll give it a try.

After messing about with addons some more, I realized ForteXorcist could probably also do this. I already use it for dot timers, so it should be able to do buffs as well. Ill try both and see what I like best.
