Well ive decided against buying and and im going to build it with the help of my brother. I cant do the computer u listed because i need a monitor mouse and keyboard, so ill probably get the first one mentioned. Does the motherboard he mentioned earlier have 2 gpu slots so i can upgrade later?

It was mostly because i was still afraid to build it, but my brother knows how too, so he will be helping me.

You can skip the soundcard and get the 120 GB version of the Crucial M4 and you'll save about $200.
There is no need for a sound card as the MoBo has its own which is enough for 95% of the stuff you do, not to mention it doesn't support USB headsets(afaik).
SSDs aren't all that useful for gaming, they only speed up loading times, no FPS increase and it's gonna break faster if you have games on it as SSDs aren't at the same level in durability as HDDs are yet.

There shouldn't be any new CPUs or GPUs coming out by January worth noting for your purpose (certainly not a new generation). It will almost definitely be cheaper by then as well.

Off topic: Thats what she said.

On topic: One way you can teach yourself to build a computer is get a really old one like a P4 or something "make sure it works" take it all apart and then put it back together.

that's how i learned a few years ago.

edit: http://www.geeks.com/ is a good site to check out if you live in the US and want to buy a old computer to test on.
Most of there stuff is used/Refurbished but all Warranty for 90days sometimes longer.
They do sell new things as well.
There stock can change daily so just check it out every now and then.
