Not sure, double check your quest log to make sure you turned in the one you received yesterday. If still bugged, and not in a raid group, make a GM ticket.
A GM ticket seems a bit excessive, you can still do the dailies, regardless of there being a starting quest and the starting quest doesnt give you any rep anyway.
