Been wondering for a while if i should switch from one server to the top ranked pvp server, it seems this is a viable way to get an easy increase in your overall rating. I had a few friends do this and they told me that it was very easy to do. Not sure if it feels like side-stepping the problem doing that.... maybe its like cheating to consider that? is it frowned upon generally or whats the deal?
For now im sticking to my server for friends and stuff, but with battlenet and cross-server hookups it seems more likely i could move.
I used to play on an completely empty server, I was able to count the amount of players that have 2k+ xp by my fingers so I was never able to get high rating on that server. It was just impossible.
Switching to Argent Dawn which has like 30x the amount of players helped me a lot. I got 2k in every bracket except 5's even RBG 1980 just because switching servers.
Also if you play on an empty server you can basicly never world pvp because there are just no players around D:
