    More layoffs

Citing a "strategy shift" Activision Blizzard Inc. is cutting its Twin Cities staff by 20 percent, resulting in 31 layoffs at the videogame company's offices in Eden Prairie and Eagan.

Have you even read the article you are linking to? You make it sound as if Activision Blizzard (the whole company) just reduced its employees by 20%.

The article makes it clear that this isn't even related to Blizzard games.

Anyone panicking about this hasn't read the article yet.

Actually, they're laying off 30 people in the Twin Cities offices.

30 out of their 7738 employees is actually 0.39%, not 20%.

Lmfao. It's only 31 people at one of Actiblizzions offices, and one that handles lower budget single player games. This has absolutely _nothing_ to do with World of Warcraft. ''The sky is falling'' xDxDxD
Although it does suck to get laid off.

$15/month does not make you a shareholder in Activision corporation. Layoffs suck, so does redundancy and duplicity for a company. If you only need 10 people to handle a task there is no need to have 20 people working on it.

Ssssh, you'll shatter his self-worth. Perish the thought of being a mere, lowly consumer! Nooo, no I'm not a consumer, I am a SHAREHOLDER, interested in the OVERARCING CONGLOMERATE BEHEMOTH.
