What Direction Is This Game Headed?

I have to admit WoW has taken a very weird turn with this recent expansion. Where in it's story lore do we find pandas,kung fu and overall asian themes? Why don't we go back to the european medievil model of orcs, dwarves and elves? Seriously i do not want another expansion where i feel totally disconnected while playing it. Otherwise i wait for Titan.
