I'm not saying there is no raiding. We have 8 players ready to raid, and have been trying to recruit for quite a while. I know several other guilds in the same situation. When the population gets so low you cant even get recruits there is an issue.
Maybe speak to the other guilds that are in the same situation and see if you can all come to an agreement to raid together in 25 mans, or a few 10 man groups?
I agree, dead servers are a problem. But there are 2 main reasons why they can't be fixed right now:
1) If some people enjoy playing less-populated realms, and I know they exist, they should be respeced as well
2) Dead realms are constantly becoming more dead when people PAY BLIZZARD TO GET OUT OF THERE.
The second point is quite a dick move of Blizzard. You can squeeze at least a bit more money just by not doing anything? Well, yes! It's pretty disrespectfull to playerbase, since most "dead realms" were realms that were populated for a long time and simply changed over time. It should be treated as a problem to fix, not a small gain.
And the players who like "dead servers"... Well, there are numerous ways to deal with it. Free migration to medium/high realms is one. The solution of the problem is just hidden behind Blizzards greed right now.
