Sorry about this but, need gaming PC advice

First, I checked the sticky and some of the links dated back to 2009. I don't really want to go by that, so I'm just going to post a new thread and hope I get a few people giving me similar advice. I did check Google, but I have no idea what I am looking at and it is hard to find information on what I am specifically looking for. I also do not really know what sites are "good" and what sites like to scam, etc. If I can't find any helpful information, I am just going to buy an Alienware (And I REALLY don't want to do that).

Basically I just want something that can play even the most graphical game on the market on at least high settings. Metro would be a good comparison. I found this http://tpucdn.com/reviews/ASUS/GeFor..._1920_1200.gif so I know what kind of graphics card I am looking for vaguely, but when it comes to processers, etc, I have no idea what the hell I am doing. I want something pre-built.

I am willing to spend up to $2000, but I certainly do not want to go that high if I can help it. If that is not enough to buy something top-end, then I will use what my budget allows for.

Thank you very much for whoever helps me, you'll likely save me several hours on google looking for information I am ignorant of.

where are you from?
So we know what sites we can use. (also do you need any peripherals?)
if you want to future proof yourself abit go for a 670 (found budget had the room for 680 easy so took that instead )
also that link was a benchmark for a kinda odd resolution (1920x1080 being the common high end gaming one)

Just to let you know, it is really really easy. A lot easier than you think to put it together yourself. I know you said no interest in trying, but just for comparisons sake here is a build you could do yourself that is about the same price as the one above but has a larger SSD(larger=faster), does have Windows which you said you needed, does not have keyboard and mouse which you said you don't need. Same price-ish(actually about $100 less), but you get exactly what you want.

finding local tech shop/guy is a good alternative and would give us more freedom with certain parts to pick (looking at ibuypower h60 while i wanted a h100 in that build!)
also at build above me why a dvd and bluray drive? (ditching bluray could give some nice room for better parts )

ummm, yeah, that was a mistake. The pricey one can burn blu-rays, the cheaper one only read but can burn DVDs. Pick one or the other depending on needs.
