    Depends. If you get more gold from vendoring than what the mats cost on the AH, you're better off vendoring them then buying mats of the AH to make your enchants.

    Opportunity cost. Its a pretty important concept.

    That's something you'll have to do some experimenting/math on.

    I have been lucky selling some of them on AH for twice as more they are worth on vendor. But it will be slow. Depends on the server i guess.

    Its actually not complicated at all. If you get more gold from vendoring than the mats cost on the auction house, then the best route is to vendor and then buy mats from the auction house.

    JC is a brilliant profession, easy to make relative amounts of gold prospecting, and a sure fire way to make a huge amount of gold each expac

    I wouldn't say its useless. Just more people have become accustomed to the way to make money from it meaning gems etc are now cheaper than they would have been previously.
