Holy Pally logs question

So we're progressing on Garalon and I was trying to look at other peoples logs and could someone explain to me how this healing pally is putting out so much HPS?

Can anyone breakdown how he uses eternal flame so often or just explain what he might be doing in the fight? Trying to help our healer out to try and understand so we can maybe try 2 healing.

Any help at dissecting the holy pally logs would be appreciated, thanks!

It is very powerful a little to OP if you ask me also it comes into ef blanketing the raid.

I know it's not an exploit, but it just feels really wrong to me to have to use PvP gear to PvE, so I refuse to do that and I will heal the fight the way it was meant to be done.

Ah okay, thanks. I looked into the 4 set:

"(4) Set: When you cast Word of Glory using 3 Holy Power you will gain 1 Holy Power."

So that works with Eternal flame as well them?

What he is doing is using the PvP four piece in combination with EF and DP. Its provides a huge boost of Holy Power and leads to a strategy that consists of mostly HS, CS, and HR to build HP and then EF to blanket the raid. This fight is also one of the few fights where this strategy works to full power due to the consistently high damage going out throughout the whole fight.

Yeah I do this aswell on garalon. Tho I can't reach the same hps due to the awesome resto druid we have.

It's actually quite fun to heal this way, and I've been starting to use this same way on heroic spirit kings. Works quite well there aswell.

Gonna try it on will heroic once we get there, probably later this week. Dishing out a good chunk of heals and dancing at the same time for that extra damage. :>

Sadly for pvp, I can see a nerf incoming to the 4 set. Most likely they will add a cooldown to it.
