What ever happened to innocent until proved guilty?
I feel it is a mistake to utterly destroy a man's image before he is even judged.
Wha...?
How is Warcraft even relevant?
Wait i have a vision of the future... Apparently a sex offender 47 years from now will be arrested... And he appears to be a former Warcraft player!
My mom did tell me that Warcraft was made by the devil, way back when I asked her to buy Warcraft 1 for me. It was really only a matter of time before it started corrupting our youth.
It's an ideology that is used in civilized law to lessen the chance of convicting innocents by shifting the burden of researching the crime onto the state. Most humans probably do the opposite and won't accept a person as innocent until he himself has proven himself as such.
OT: Pretty retarded to link it to WoW, but just think...all those Hardcore WoW players people idolize could be real creeps irl. Goes to show you don't truly know someone I guess.

Millions of people in WoW.. i wouldn't be surprised if there was a couple of murderers who play this game, so a sex crime isn't really that big of a deal in the big picture. It shouldn't even have been linked to WoW since his crime has nothing to do with the game...
What does World of Warcraft have to do with this?
This sounds as stupid as the following:
- Former Facebook-user turns into celebrity stalker.
- Former Twitter-user becomes violent protester.
Next thing you know, games are going to be blamed for causing every crime:
- Former GTA player runs red light and kills 5 people in accident.
- Former Sims player locks up a family in a house and starts to play with them.
Games aren't the reason for everything. How would the game-haters explain similar murders being commited before games even existed? Or before movies existed? Hell, how do you explain the massive battles throughout history, torture, witchhunts? Yea, you can't, because it's all completely unrelated to games and movies. It's human nature.
I must have killed so many people/creatures in games that if I were to turn that into real-life kills, I'd be able to kill the world's population twice. Does that make me the next Hitler? No.
Statix will suffice.
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics...wins-election/ Oh jubilee! Yes, I know the whole thing started with slandering her, but I'll take what I can get.
As for the connection between charging someone and gaming.. what the hell does gaming have to do with the fact that he was charged? They are two completely unrelated events. As for the media looking at it, they hit him for being active on youtube, WoW, and myspace. I don't even see much of anything about his gamer habits apart from he spent a lot of time on it.
Meh... A pedophile gets caught being a pedophile... Meh.
