gw2 comparison!

Sitting on the fence about guild wars 2? How does it stack up against current Mmos?
I've only played STO, SWTOR and a bit of Tera....A bit of a noob.....

If you can run those games then you'll be just fine with GW2.

The game is not really comparable to those that you mentioned. It has a hybrid action combat between traditional mmorpg style combat and a MOBA. The world itself is more like Skyrim than the mmos you have played.

Keep in mind that angry joe doesn't give as a deep review as you would expect sadly, he doesn't adress much into the PvE status, which a lot of people diasgree with (including me partially)

Then you'll get the best from the game, the pvp is quite good, the only downsides are the existence of the downed state which annoys a lot of people, might annoy you due to it being "one more gimmick".
