When language and popular culture meet

    hey fellow forum lurkers,

i've been working on a small project for the past few weeks and now it's finally ready to be embraced (or trolled) by the public. i'm studying linguistics and foreign languages, which people tend to find boring. this is why i've decided to try and bring these topics closer to people, preferably in a way that's easily accessible and also somewhat entertaining. therefore, i came up with this blog that i cleverly named "Oral Disco". yeah, that's right. i apologize.

there, i talk about certain aspects of language acquisition and foreign languages that seem interesting to me and which i'd love people to know more about. all this coated in trying-hard-to-be-funny sauce. but check it out for yourselves:

i realize that this is obviously shameless self-promoting, but hey, it's for the greater good. after having read the first article where controversial nicki minaj and i discuss modern hebrew, you might have learned something. just give it a try.

    have a nice day!
