If you aren't already, have the dps use pots or save some CDs to burn down an extra wave of adds - it will be far more damage than using the pots in the last phase.

And try to burn down the pillars evenly, you get far less adds this way compared to having everyone focus one, then move to the next, etc., which should make the transitions back into the regular phase much easier.
