Did you ever buy gold with real money from those gold-selling websites?
Did you ever buy gold with real money from those gold-selling websites?
no, and dont see why anyone would, Gold has allways been silly easy to make.
From flipping runecloth for rep hand-ins in vanilla, to the ore Shuffle of Cata / Mop.
There has never been a reason to buy gold.
Yes, gold selling sites, friends, friend's friends. It felt good.
Never done it, never will..
I have, however, been "hacked" once, so I havefirst hand experience with, where the gold sellers get their gold from..
Also, I will promptly report anyone I know buying gold.
Nope never, but I'd like a RMAH:ish place to sell the gold I make in-game, would be nice to be able to pay for the subscription without using IRL-money tbh (especially as I dont really play the game anymore, I just hang around and do some dailies + play AH). I kinda like the EVE-idea with Plex, go go Bliz!
Once. Was desperate to get flying mount training years ago.
I have bought gold about 3-4 years ago when I was new in the game. Used paypal and it never was any problems.
Later I have ofc understood that buying gold will lead to more players being hacked and more bots etc and other nasty things in the game so I will never do it again. But back then, this was in tbc, when I could not afford a 100% ground mount it didnd't feel wrong in any way
Bought 1k at the start of WotLK to buy epix.
Lol.

My transmog & misc. blog!
Never have never will, Besides I'm amazing when controlling the auction house in any server.
- If I'm not lazy most of the time.
Same here, back in TBC i bought some gold to buy the Cenarion War Hippogryph , wich was big gold for me those days
Never did it again, making gold like it should.
No and never will.
My friend bought some at the end of Vanilla with my Paypal. Neither of us were ever hacked.
Never bought any myself.
Once in Vanilla, worked out fine. I see it different today, and would never do it again. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of the game.
Never for WoW, or most any other game I've played, the only exception to the rule was Final Fantasy XI, and while now I regret it, at the time it felt like the only way to keep up as the economy was out of control. I other games, even if I did't have the gold to buy what I wanted, it didn't feel like getting it was such a massive impossibility.
I haven't personally, but I have been given half of 1k gold bought by a close friend.
This was in Vanilla and it paid for our mounts. I knew he bought it, and I took it happily.
Doesn't mean I'd do it now though
buying from a guildy sounds like a good idea. it aint comin from a chinese gold farmer.
