Maelstrom weapon addon

hi, hoping maybe to get some help finding an add-on that can help me, does any shammy know if there is an add-on that will either highlight lightning bolt/chain when you have 5 stacks of maelstrom or at least display the stack amount ON the spells. i know they put the spell alerts in game but that symbol that pops up above my head for maelstrom tends to blend in or get masked by all the spell flashes and other graphics and i can sometimes just totally miss that its up, hoping maybe there is an add-on that can show its ready on the action bars, any one know of any?

you're missing the default icon because you're staring at your bars. stop doing that. never used it but does spell flash do this shit?

I use TellMeWhen to put my cooldowns on the center of the screen, on of these is how much stacks of MW I have. To be honest it only shows when I have 3 or more stacks.

Check out The Ultimate Shaman UI thread in this sub forum. If you dont want to use the UI (like me) it does have a fantastic Power Auras setup you can install separately.

nah i dont just stare at my bars, but i do see them and use em to watch cooldowns ( my addons put a count down on them ), i just cant see the lil lightning bolt icon, its whitish blue and tends to blend in with all the lightning and lights from other spells/effects

Just use power aura's or weak aura's. You can use them track alot of stuff other then just MSW. i like weak aura's i use them to track MSW and all my cd's and spell's right under my shaman and used them to replace DBM.

endus has a great weak aura's pack that i used as a starting point he is a well trusted shaman mod.

I use the power auras string in The Ultimate Shaman UI thread. Ive added some stuff, moved some stuff, but it tracks maelstrom nice and clearly.
