Actually I've barely ever seen people "down" it. It's always one silly forum thread, where the OP downs it, and nearly every single reply after it says the new system is good.

    My solution is as follows:
    1) merge servers so that all servers are as close to 1:1 alliance:horde ratio as possible but still do not have queue times to log during peak times.
    2) remove LFR, LFD, and battleground auto queue systems.
    3) force everyone to form their own groups which would make server reputation mean something again. It would also cause people to get punished (in a way) for being a dick with loot or any of the other bad behaviors that currently fly. You do something wrong it'd be like back in vanilla and BC. You'd get booted from the group and get a bad rep on the server. Noone wants that.

And for clarification: LFR difficulty would just be an option when you form your group, kinda like how challenge mode is just another difficulty level for 5 mans in the drop down menu.

Not a single thing in this post is remotely related to the topic except maybe for the word "LFR" itself.

100% agree, there isn't much of a sample size yet but just look at the poll in this very thread, it speaks volumes.

    Idea 1.
For some people getting the same loot over and over even when they don't need loot gets annoying so I figure why not have the system either allow them to pass up their roll chance for loot or enable trading or auto disenchanted of there is a enchanter. Only the person who won one of random chances however are shown this window though so it is strictly up to them Nd the item is still random. So gaming is still not very likely.

    Idea 2.
Go back to showing the four drops after each boss kill but instead of having the four options(greed, need, pass, disenchant) there are only two,Pass or roll. This way people can see the loot and if they need it they can put in their chance for it. Now before people say this brings back gaming there are a few rules to it.
One this system will be stricter on rolls
Trading is not enabled in this system nor is disenchantment
If I'm some way it. E possible) make the system dectect the item in the person whole inventory (equipped, bag, and bank) and let it check if the person has a normal or higher version of the item . This goes for any slate if you have a raid lvl item it will not be open for you to roll on.
With those two added rules I think gaming or just slowing people down to be rude for the sake of it will not be possible.
If there is anything you wish to add or ask about please say.
The only ones who can change it are Blizz, so unless you plan to get a job with them and move rapidly up the corporate ladder so you can make these changes suck it up. They have said in many many many blue posts it will not change. Maybe if it really annoys you so much tell your cat, he will be interested.

I have seen post of both. And like I keep repeating I'm not downing the current system but I will admit it really has made many complaints fade but made new ones.

Soo the point of you being a dick about a idea is needed and helpful how?

Man people really do not understand how the new LFR loot system works at all do they?

I think it would be really cool to have a "what spec do you want your loot to be" button if you win something but that is my only "suggestion" I can come up with to "fix" the "broken" system...

And you are right, so far the poll is having ppl say the third option but I made the poll last for a month so day 1 leans that way.

I understand it. Again only a damn idea I had. But thanks for the other half your post.,.that is something I can actually put into it.

I would say these options are bad, what if I want to have a 2 piece of same loot for different encounters, different enchants, reforge etc. then I am not allowed to get that piece again??? and if I got a normal raid one, I am not allowed to have a chance to get an item, so I can reforge again ?

The system is fine as it is.

I didn't get a single bop drop in firelands on my lock through several months. That your rng was happier with you under the old system means nothing, except for you as person.
Honestly now yeah, I've been against that in the past, but when it's come down to it I got far more loot when people were playing it that way. Seem to me it worked better.

And isn't it meaning something for me as a person what counts here? I'm not there because of my goodwill for the 24 randoms I've been thrown in with.

Loot system is fine for LFR, in fact, I feel people should be getting even less loot from LFR than they are now. But I suppose I understand Blizzard needing to throw some crappy versions of real epics to the unwashed masses.
You're getting exactly what you deserve.

A lot of people just don't understand the new system. It's a lot better now than it was before. The only changes I would make are:

    1) Give players an option to choose which spec they want to roll for. Would encourage players to queue as tank or healer if they can still roll on DPS gear.

    2) Allow loot to be traded. There are some people willing to be nice and give duplicate items away. And no, this is not to make money, you can't trade money cross server anyway.

the reason it is like that is so it ppl wouldn't keep screwing ppl out.but if you read later on in the thread I thought having two of each item is fair for this exact reason you asked.

Again I understand the new system but not everyone likes the new system.

The current system is near-perfect, or well, pretty much perfect. The only possible change I'd add would be the ability to disenchant your loot if an enchanter is in the raid, but that would grossly devalue sha crystals which I can understand if Blizzard don't want that.

    No changes are required.

Meh..I'm pretty sure blizz would not mind if the gold for a item got cheap...since u know they want gold out of the community.

Seeing gear and getting gear are different, RNG is RNG no matter how you look at it. Gear might not drop forever in lfr for you but the likelihood of this happening is almost nonexistent. This is a doubled bladed axe because it cuts both ways, Gear could always drop from every boss every time you killed one but again the likelihood of this happening is also almost nonexistent. I agree there is better ways of getting gear, but for now we have RNG as the factor. IMO i wont mind it at all once they put in more items to the bags if you dont get gear, would entice me to do lfr every week even if i dont need the gear just for random items that i could get.

No but there was a problem with what you where doing in DS. It's suppose to be about RNG, but what you did is like going into a casino and playing poker, but you would bring a fixed deck of cards, essentially cheating the system in a way it wasn't intended to be used, taking money (or loot in this case) from the other players at the table. Now that the casino has found out the flaws in their systems and fixed it so you no longer can cheat your way to higher earnings you complain that you have to play on equal terms with the other players and how that is horrible since you are not there because of your goodwill for the other players at the table but there to get maximum profit out of them. Funny how this is not looked upon as a valid argument by most.

Can't fix it if it isnt broken
I play many games. WoW, Rift, D3, PoE, SC2 I will not criticize your game choice if you don't mine.

So if it just to make lazy ppl lazier I'd be ok if it eliminates the ass hatary that comes with needing on something you don't need.

Also your reply to windfury isn't needed, if he is ok with the idea it is fine. Rng is a bitch with this current system so both ideas would tleast up a person like his chances.

Oh no there is no blue post but they do always wish for feedback or suggestions right, so eventually it would change again prob.
Yes, they do want feedback. The fact that so many posts are made on the same topic on blizzards forum kinda says what kind of people it is that makes the complaint. Those that can't even figure out how to use the search-function in there ^^

The reply to windfury wasn't meant in a negative way. Just that his personal bad luck with rolls didn't matter at all compared to the system statistically giving you a higher chance to get gear now, than before. He has just been lucky, or not played that much in raids.

Okay. I got your system now, but it has some flaws still. I'm tanking and have for that reason focused on tanking-gear, meaning i have nothing more than 1 dps-tier item, and rest is HC dungeon gear.
So i go in as a nooby dps making my impressive 7k, with that gear, and a few tanking-items on. A dps-helmet drops from the loottable, and i can't get it because i have the tanking-helmet from shado-pand garrison?
If you look at the voters you'll see that people overall like the new system. I do honestly just think you need to read more up on it. It's a good system really. Your chance is way better than before on LFR.

Usually i wouldn't think it should be hard to classify every single gearitem for what class it belonged to, and who should be able to roll on it, but you can see how much trouble blizzard have making that work. Letting you roll on all rings/trinkets usually, so i don't think they would solve it with a "it's a tanking-helmet, he have no better dps-helmet than this drop"
Everyone has so much to say
They talk talk talk their lives away
