t14 gloves, pretty garbage?

I got my t14 LFR gloves tonight, and was excited because I have 476 gloves (Gloves of Earthen Harmony). But, looking at their stats... My crafted gloves are overall better. I lose a socket, so my gloves have more agility overall on them ... and I lose like, I think a total of 670 Mastery. What is this garbage? Looking at the Normal version, I can't see why anyone would take them over the gloves from Garalon other than for the 2 or 4 piece.

I figured maybe I'd trade them in for Resto gloves, but they're straight trash too because they'd have less overall Intellect and Spirit!

-_- Frustrated. I do not know yet how to use the SimCraft or anything, so I am kind of just doing Head-Maths, so I could be wrong...but I don't feel like I am...

Allow me: the gloves are indeed pretty crappy with no socket. If you can get the crafted LWer 496 oens, they are god-like stat itemization. The only scenario you would wanto your tier gloves is if you get the elite shoulders off the first boss of Terrace, basically.

Gloves are just horrible for their item level, no socket and bad agility allocation.

I wouldn't be getting my set bonus because I have no other pieces of tier. Clearly the set bonus is great, but, for how weak the gloves are, I feel like getting the crafted gloves or the ones off garalon, and waiting for my Legs/Chest or whatever would be much smarter.

No, if you do the boss 'Protectors of the Endless' in Terrace of the Endless Springs a certain way, they drop 'Elite' pieces of loot. The normal Elite gear is 503 ilvl, and Heroic Elite is 516 ilvl. To get the elite gear, you have to kill Protector Kaolan last, which is going to require quite a high amount of DPS, because he has an ability that more or less acts as a hard enrage.

It's allways been like that. Even for normal epics. It does not give you mutch + stats, the good thing about sets are ofc the set bonuses wich overweights the stat loss.
