    Deus Ex - alike game

I remember playing Deus EX where I could play a FPS and upgrade me/weapons and stuff in a "XP" kind away.

Is there any new game that is good and reminds of this playstyle? Really had great fun with it.

    Platform: PC

It's nowhere near to Deus Ex. It's diablo with pew pew.

    Played both, both are excellent.

Bioshock Infinite is coming out soon. I'm playing through Bioshock for the first time and loving it. It isn't heavy on stealth like Deus Ex is but the ability to upgrade powers and weapons is similar.

Also NOLF 2 had something similar.

Deus Ex HR and Mass Effect I'd say, my two favorites.

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R.?

It's not got XP per say, but it has money, a lot of RPG elements, upgrading gear, trading, etc.

    What?

Borderlands is NOTHING like Deus Ex.

Technically, it is a FPS and you use guns and gain xp with variations on upgrading yourself or weapons.

So emphasizing the word nothing in all caps denotes that it literally is not like it in any way, which seems to be false. Although, I agree with you that it is not similar enough.

I know other people have said it, but I have to stress how good Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Dishonored, and the BioShock games are. I'd recommend all of them.

I'll probably get flayed for this, but Alpha Protocol could be a fit. I've only played it on PC, and I had to get an .ini fix for the mouse, but once I did that I thought the game was actually quite good. In fact, I thought it was better than Deus Ex:HR.

As someone who's played all Mass Effect games at least 3 times each, i totally agree.. The Mass Effect series is one of the best in this genre - heck of ALL genres.

Did just play through Dishonored, which is very nice also.

The Crysis games are okay too - more fps than rpg, but storymode with upgradeable things.
