So, I was talking with some friends at my university, and we hit the topic about playing MMORPG's, more specifically, World of Warcraft.
In the group, there are many of my friends that actually play games, but not WoW.
Some of them started asking me about this game, as they play things like Minecraft and console games.
The question itself was "Do you think playing this helps you in any way? Have you actually learnt something?"
And I thought, "Well, that's a good question. I have actually learnt a lot of stuff thanks to this game."
I don't know about you guys, but I think the main things this games has taught me so far are:
- Leadership (I used to raid a lot, and was in charge of organizing the group and helping the leader to deal with certain people)
- To deal with different people
- To understand different cultures
- Enjoy my afternoons/evenings in a different way when I have nothing to do (I can't say I get bored when I don't go out)
What about you guys? Have you learnt something that can affect your life while playing this game?
