How does one do that? I was duelling in durotar and lost, and got instantly killed by Puntable Marmot (1dmg(1dmg overkill)).
How do you pull that off?

Some critters attack you if you put them in combat with a non damaging spell, eg Demoralizing Shout... we used to keep our warrior at full rage by having a critter aggro onto him to keep him in combat.

Problem is that the Puntable Marmot is a quest reward.

i remember in TBC seeing a video of someone getting killed by a critter, if you enter combat with one, but dont kill it they attack you, when you finish the duel on 1 health they 1 hit you :P

Even so, the Puntable Marmot is still an npc when summoned. And because it is neutral, it can be attacked and or aggroed. I taunted the Marmot one time and it hit me for 1 damage per attack. I totally understand how OP died. Originally Posted by farekim
