Are they really called Swiss Cake rolls?

I always used to call them Swiss rolls. I think that's what it says on the box as well...

    Here you go.

Best part is, they're twin wrapped. Double the pleasure, double the fun. Double the ass-jiggle later on.

    But so worth it.

Nope, it says Swiss Cake Rolls. I used to buy them and freeze them back when I was skinny. When my roommate wanted one, I'd fling it across the room at him like a baseball. It was rock hard and moved strangely because of its shape, so it was always a game of seeing if he could catch it before it stove in his skull. Good times.
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
    All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

Maybe they had a slight name change?

I've always wanted to try a twinkie, but never actually looked for them in Tesco or Sainsbury's (UK).
    I guess I better hurry then :P

Maybe it's a regional thing? I started eating Swiss Cake Rolls about 12 years ago, and they were called Swiss Cake Rolls then.

They haven't made any new Twinkies in the last 60 years anyhow. The original batch is still in circulation.

I think the real tragedy is that deep fried twinkie will go the way of the dodo.

And they starved due to the fact that ppl enjoy tasty snack cakes, clearly........

If its bothering you so much, get off your arse, stop reading gamer forums and do something about it.

All i know about the Twinkie is that the guy in Zombieland likes them and that according to Apu "You cannot hurt the Twinkie". Seems like one of them were wrong.

Also, the unions only cover 5,000 of the 18,500 employees.

And if you even bother to read the article and not just sit there being completely ignorant:

Clearly Obama's fault! This absolutely would not be happening exactly the same if Romney was elected.
The bakers union was 5000 people, there were other unions. The Teamster had 6500 members.

Dunno how people can enjoy them, I tried one not long ago and it felt like my insides were slowly decaying away.

Who would have thought union goons and a business hostile government would have negative consequences for workers?
