You should be able to do what work you want, if you are qualified for it, and your sexual orientation shouldn't matter when applying for any work or working, in this case, the military.

I find it hard to believe your sexuality makes a difference in combat.
Id put them in their own divisions. Why does your sexual preference now matter at work? People need to stop making it an issue for political reasons, your there to do a job, not have sex.
